I have supplied the several hundred caring people who come along to my classes on the Sunshine Coast with a petition to the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly in Canberra. Each person is asked to sign their own petition and to ask people they care for to add their signatures. This way each person makes their commitment to both God and Man. The petition reads:

"We, the undersigned, petition you to -

1. Place your devotion, dedication and energy toward accomplishing a PEACEFUL planet.

2. Make your love of peace your spiritual gift against violence, fear and hatred.

3. Use all your powers to bring about a neutral Australia.

4. Legislate against using technology for destructive purposes.

5. Use the millions of dollars spent on fear (defence) to replenish our earth.

This planet has been brought to the brink of natural disasters by our own attitudes, but can yet be salvaged by willingness and dedication. Your decision will affect not only your physical welfare but your spiritual advancement or retardation. We pray that you will choose love and join us in bringing about a Golden Age."

Will you copy this petition, get other signatures, and post it off? If you should need more than one sheet of paper for your petition, remember that the petition itself must appear on each sheet.

I ask you to make a commitment to world peace now. Do not wait for somebody else to do something about it. Learn that 'people power' is your greatest means of bringing about change. You are far from powerless if you would only act together.

Some people will sign the petition happily. Others, particularly those who profit so much from the war industry, and also those who live in fear will not sign. Still others will not be able to make a decision.

In each case your response is registered spiritually. Make no mistake about this. The bottom line is - which path shall you choose? Fear or Love?

The time is upon us now to stand up and be counted. Remember this: you are either for God or against Him, and you are doing this FOR YOURSELF.
